I love to bake and now that I am staying home with my little guy, I can actually bake cookies for the older kids hubby seems to eat most of them. They love to take a sweet homemade treat in their lunchbox each day, and I am glad to be able to bake them. Problem is... I don't always have the time to go looking for creative cookie or brownie recipes. Cakes and pies are great,  but cookies and brownies are the favorites at the Phillips' house.

So, in my search for easy recipes, I came across one site that makes things a bit easier.  Do you ever watch the show Semi-homemade by Sandra Lee?  Well this recipe website is sort of the same concept.  Okay, Sandra Lee  uses the 70/30 breakdown for ready made products and homemade ingredients, so my ratio might be a bit off just a bit more store bought. The website I love is Betty Crocker's cookie mix recipe site.  Basically you take the prepackaged boxes of cookie, brownie, or cake mix and you add to them to make creative and yummy treats. 

Madison's favorite one is the Mint Chocolate Chip cookie recipe. I chopped up Andes Candies in these.  Gibson and Ashley love any of the brownie recipes, especially the ones where you put cookie mix in with the brownies like these:
