Just being content with bouncing, unfortunately, is starting to be a thing of the past though. Yep, my days of sitting on the floor beside the little guy watching him chew on his toys
The doctor gives me the scoop on things like, "Now be careful, he will start crawling and getting around soon. You will need to watch out for small toys around the house, plugs, cabinets, flowers, things that can be pulled over, hot things, heavy things, steps, ..... on and on and on...." I swear, after giving that same speech probably ten times a day for the past twenty years, it was like a broken record. I mean I heard everything, but it was crazy how he didn't even stop to take a breath!!
Plus, I swear Hudson heard everything too!!!
Hudson has been on the verge of the creeping stage for the past few weeks, so I have been appreciating these last quiet moments of actually being able to sit down for extended periods of time. I just didn't know it was going to come upon me so quickly. Here we are getting home from the doctor's office, and WHO decides that he can get up on all fours and start to do the combat crawl across the floor??? Yep! My little Hudson can now go to and get anything his little heart desires
Positive side: Maybe I can now drop those last few pounds chasing this little guy.
Afterthought: What will the Christmas tree be like this year?
