If you are a big fan of
HGTV like I am, you have surely seen the shows
Unsellables and
Get It Sold. These are just two of the many shows that feature
homes that have been on the market for quite a while but haven't sold. They bring in the experts to give suggestions on how to 'get it sold'. They always say things like "fix the unfinished projects, declutter, depersonalize, De this, De that"....
Well, there is a home in my neighborhood that has been for sale for several years. Last year the kids and I kind of joked around about this house because they hung
eerie bloody finger prints all over the second story windows. It was
Halloween at the time so I am sure many buyers understood, but it was kind of freaky to see from the street. The bad part though was they left the things up until well into late November
sure the home owner's association issued them a letter or two, probably freaked all of the little kids out that came to house shop with their parents, and by this time, I'm sure people weren't associating them with Halloween decorations.
Here we are at Halloween again, and although they haven't put the bloody finger prints up yet, they do have a chalk outline of a dead body on their front lawn just a few feet from the For Sale sign.
With the grass being pretty short
no need to cut it already and going dormant here in the next weeks, I am wondering how long it will remain. Actually, what I am really wondering is: What are these people thinking??????
Would this be DeFreak?
